Securing your TRUZH account

Best practices for keeping your account safe from unauthorised access.

4 min readUpdated 1 April 20263 sections

1Strong passwords

Use a strong, unique password for your TRUZH account — at least twelve characters, combining letters, numbers, and symbols. Never reuse passwords from other services. Consider using a reputable password manager to generate and store strong passwords securely.

2Two-factor authentication

Enable two-factor authentication in your account settings. This adds a second layer of security beyond your password, requiring a code from your phone or authenticator app at login. Two-factor authentication is the single most effective account protection you can enable.

3Recognising unauthorised access

If you notice unfamiliar listings, messages, or account changes, your account may be compromised. Change your password immediately, enable two-factor authentication if not already active, and contact trust-safety@truzh.com for assistance.
